Little ones are yellowjackets..they live in the ground. Bigger ones are Yellow Hornets, they make paper nests (at least where I'm from). Either way they're fookin nasty and will put a hurt on you just for spite. Most bees/wasps will leave you alone unless you **** 'em off...not these bastids, they just have a bad attitude...

That's exactly what it is, aparently called a European Hornet. Mean SOB's, been chased by a lot but never stung (lucky me) but i guess they will chase you when you shoot at them with bb guns, stab at them with the handle end of a rake and miss, etc. etc. haha (gas works best ^.^)

We have those Jap hornets here in PA, They are huge and have a wing span thats about a good 3-3.5 inches...they sting AND bite....saw one that was dying....i still ran away lol

I thought we had them bastard here but they turned out to be cicada killers ... either way the bastards die ... mailman (female) thought I was hilarious out there in the yard with a tennis racket smacking big *** bugs.
