I have an 05 cbr 600 rr, the end of last summer bike would not re-start after a short trip, put bike away for winter, note; I did not put battrey on a tender when storing bike, just would take battery out of bike. this year same problem..figured it may be a weak battery, a mechanic I know said it may be a charging issue. and I have read that this year of bike may have charging issues..getting a new battery tomorrow..I have tool's and a manual and will begin checking electricts...was wondering if anyone had similar problems and found a part(s) to be defective..rectifier, regulator or altenator,maybe quicken repair...any help would be great..

 

I $ a new batt after riding around and the bike died. put it on charge for 24 hrs, no dice. new battery, and 2 years still strong, even after sitting for the winter. I took battery out, left it inside all toasty warm in my closet. No issues.

 

I installed a new battery, and so far have not had any of the previous problems. been a couple of day's..seem's it was a bad battery..thanks for your input Sushi..
