Heres the deal. I had this beauty of a bike picked out and i went to the dealer (which was a small dealer in Rowlett) talked to the guy about his 07 600. He had a guy he goes throught to get financing so i said ok because i was putting 3000 down. This was late saturday afternoon, so i was going monday to go sign the loan documents and give them my down payment and thenpick it up. Well apparently they didnt want to wait til 5 monday because they got another guy financed for the same bike and sold it to him!!!!!!!! So i guess im just going to go with a littler older model and just pay cash. I was so pissed off!!

 

That sucks man! I love my 07- If you get another chance to buy an 07, do it! Its worth it!

Thanks but no thanks. Just bought a bike a few days ago. Not as new but bought it cash. Still freakin sweet though.

 

I think at the dealer if you had put down $3000 on Saturday then came back on Monday after 5:00pm to sign the papers that would had been ok. Only because with the money down it's like holding the bike for you no one can touch that bike.

 

That blows man. I hope that doesn't happen to me. I put 2K down on mine last Thursday and I'm going down to OKC to pick it up next saturday.

 

You are fine man they will hold it for you only because you put something down. Most dealership ask for 6-10 percent down to hold it.

 

Like everyone says, that sucks, but you have to remember the dealerships are in it to make money. If you don't have anything in writing and someone else shows them green first, then that's who they'l go with.
