when you change your sprockets, I have -1,+2, it killed my gas even mechanics that have 600rrs w/ the same mods say they only get around 20mpg. Is it really worth it?

yea i went one tooth down in the front with a RK/Vortex sproket kit. It doesn't kill the gas as everybody says, maybe just a few mpg less. The acceleration is great in 1st-3rd. Doesn't really cut off too much top end cause in my races I can keep up with the other 600's at top speed, but then again I am 30lbs lighter than the other riders (I weigh 138lbs). It will affect your speedometer, when it says 55mph, your actually going 45mph, just to give you some reference, this is just my imput though

I just did my -1 tonight and I am in LOVE. It throws off your speedo a little and your R's are higher but your new found low end is amazing. Awesome mod.
