Default I changed my own oil!

Wasn't as hard as I thought really. The hardest part was just getting the frickin mid-fairings back on when I was done. The little black things that you screw into (jack your mind out of the gutter) on the top part of the mids were the hardest part. Now fresh synthetic oil and a new filter and I'm back on the road...New 2CT's in the mail. My rubber is getting down pretty far.

Sweet it let me post. Thoughts? Do any of you change your own oil? I figure it saves a lot of money. 56 bucks for a gallon of oil and a filter

I do all my own stuff because I dont trust the stealerships. Seen too many and heard too many horror stories.

Hell yeah I do my own work! I've even learned how to change my own tires with my father-in-laws tire changer. As for the oil costs, Ran me $30 in oil and a couple bucks for the filter on my F3. Anything of mine that has over 8k miles on it gets the AMSoil treatment. Not cheap, but I ride hard and figure it should save me money in the long run.

You mean the cheap generic oil and the FRAM oil filter that might as well just be a piece of paper to filter your oil.
