I have a 2006 CBR600RR which as just rolled over to 10,000 miles. I've been have a problem I can't figure out. May times my bike seems to have a loss of power (the bike just seems weak). Also when i have this problem the bike "clunks" when shifting from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. Sometimes the problem will go away if i run the bike about 10 minutes and then turn it off for a few (like at a gas station). The first time i stop again the problem comes right back. Not sure what to do. ANYBODY ELSE HAVE THIS PROBLEM. Also Bike has had ALL factory maintenance with Honda Synthetic Oil.

clutch? do you shift with our without the clutch when it clunks? Where in the rpms does it have a loss, everywhere and all riding conditions?

 

^+1 sounds like the clutch to me also.
