My 06 600RR burns oil at start ups. This happens randomly, sometimes it burns absolutely no oil and sometimes it does for a second or two. Then it disappears. I've opened up my airbox and to my surprise, the #1 cylinder intake has lots of oil build up. It seems like it's dripping in through the throttle bodies and into the cylinder which causes the burning. Now, my question is where and how did all this oil get here? I've noticed that the oil was overfilled by the previous owner so I immediately dumped it and changed it along with the filter.
