RE: Break-in
Chit man i havnt had my course yet either, but i'm not lettin that stop me, of course we dont have that silly buddy law in ohio.. Imy temp packet says no nite ridin no highway no passengers and must ware helmet... Since i got min i spent the first week toyin round the neighborhood, now i ride iton the highway everynite to work, and have even picked up a groupie onece or twice since.. My thought was that i have to get out there in order to learn how to ride so i just did it... And yes i'm schedualed for the class on the 20th of june.. so good luck and check your local laws and see what the penelty is for ridin without a buddy, i checked ours and found that it was a 2 point violation i can live with that. Good luck

RE: Break-in
The law here is to impound the bike if you get caught without your buddy. If they let you go and you crash, you could prolly sue them for not impounding it therby preventing the crash. I've waited 14 years to get a bike for various reasons, no reason I cant wait until July to go out. (Or for friends from work). I would have even waited to buy the bike, but I was doing a home equity loan at the same time to consolidate other debt. This will lower my credit score in the next month so I may not have been approved for the bike later this summer.A reason I didnt just go with a used 250 is becuase once I got the approval to buy from the wife, if I bought a 250, she would never have seen a reason to upgrade lol. "That bike is fine, you dont need a new one" LOL
