Bike seems sluggish after oil problem

Well I just bought a new filter and oil along with some Lucas injector cleaner and going to put it in ill keep ya posted

I don't have a manual what is the recommend oil capacity

You are just imagining this sluggish feeling. I have made an entire ride with the oil cap still in my drive way. The only way that oil comes out is from spinning off the rotating clutch basket.

Now if you topped the oil off while it was on the kickstand, you could have overfilled it.

If you filled the oil to the full mark with the bike on the kickstand then the motor is way overfilled.

For the 07/08 it's about 3 quarts bro... I'd imagine it's the same of the older models, but I can't say for certain.

Its an 06. I changed the oil and ut was way over full. I put in three quarts and with the bike level its exactly half way up the sight window. I started it up and let her run fir a lil bit and checked it again and its perfect now. I took it for a ride and it runs awesome now. Thanks for all the input guys
