Default sluggish

hi ive got a cbr 600 f 1993 model well lookt after bike clean reliable but when im driving and pull back on throtel its a little slow on pickup its sluggish but when up to higher speed it returns to good power eny sugestions on wot problem can be much apreachated im a new rider so dont no where to start

There could be several things causing this. I recomend starting with the easy stuff first, how old are the plugs? The air filter, is it old also? What about the fuel filter, have you changed it lately? If this doesn't sovle it, look for possible air leaks in intake (worn hoses, failing rubber garments, and etc). A little FYI, they can be a real SOB to find sometimes.

When you say higher speed, do you mean higher RPMs? If so, it's probably a carb issue with too much fuel at low PRMs. However, timing and spark need to be looked at.

First thing I would do is change out the plugs if you haven't done that recently.

Also, when you grab the throttle, what RPMs are you in? If you twist hard and are in low RPMs, it will take a few seconds for the engine to get going. If you are at 7k and grab the throttle hard, hold on.
