Nope. R6's have like 10+ more HP.

Put an '08 ECM on an '09 and move the (I believe black and yellow) wire in port 23 to port 5 and you will get the power back and not have the code sensor go off.

I'm leaning towards getting a full yoshi system at this point so i'll just get a PC to take care of that eventually.

This basically proves my point...modding and 09 to run like an 08 means that 08>09.

I by no means meant the HP couldn't be found again, but just simply that in 09 it was taken away.

ha i own an 06 and can say the 07-08's are better. really wish I would have been brave and bought a newer bike but I got this bike for a great deal.

out of any i have ridden i love my 07 the most, insureance, i pay $400 a year, but im almost old (29) and have a pretty clean driving record for the past 10 years. must be dumb luck. (knock on wood)

Yes it does. I was just stating a simple and relativley cheap approach to putting the '09+ back on par with '07-'08, stock wise.
