Best price on a new 600RR?
GUYS!!! OTD means total price with all the fees including taxes and registration...so it would be different depending on where you live...and can't bring brand new out of state bike to california because of smog issue...i got mine for $9000 OTD with %8.25 tax...i think you did ok on your first bike...you might get $200 or $300 cheaper but i wouldn't drive more than 50 miles...sucks about your first bike...those bastards will pay!!![:@]
A buddy of mine drove about 100 miles to save a couple hundred bucks on his gixxer. There is one problem with that, the local dealer treats him like ****. He had a problem and they told him it would be a couple of weeks before they could get it in, (for regular warranty work). Then they kept it for a couple of days, said they didnt have time to get to it. To me its worth spending the extra couple hundred to avoid this problem.
In town (Las Cruces, New Mexico) at the largest ripoff dealership in the world (Las Cruces Motorsports) they wanted $9600 for a CBR600RR (Black on Red). RIPOFF. I drove 45 minutes east to Alamogordo to Alamogordo Cycle Center and paid $8120 INCLUDING TTL. Also got frame sliders installed and thrown in for free, which I though was cool since I didn't ask. - They got a customer for life.
Anyway, hope that helps. Usually smaller, non-butt hole dealerships in smaller towns have lower prices.
