Hey guys. I just got my F4i stolen about a week ago and am looking at getting another bike with the insurance money. I am looking at an 05 600RR with 3800 miles on it. There is no mods done to it and there is just some tiny scratches on the side. The guy is asking $5500 for it. Is it a good deal? THanks for responses.

 

Not too bad but i think thats a little bit on the high side.

 

Can't really distinguish a price on a vehicle until you have inspected it or had it inspected. Just because visually it looks decent and there's only 3800 miles on it, doesn't mean there's something internal not working correctly. Which of course would lower the value a bunch.

 

Thats on the lowside for an 05 by me. Thay are going for about 6300-7000 by me in FL

It never hurts to wave $5000 in his face and see if he takes it...if not and your in love with it, raise your offer.

Well bro, i'm currently buying an 05' CBR600RR with 2200 miles on it for $6500. It has no scratches, custom shield, tail kit, comes with matching helmet + jacket, and looks showroom. Very well kept. Depending on scratches and how well it runs i would say its an great deal. Just watch to make sure the low price isn't covering a warped clutch or anything wrong internally.

well, i got it. It was looked at by a local dealer in New Mexico and cam back with no problems. The scratches on the side are not bad at all. Actually they appear to be on the decal only. Rode it around today and it runs like a dream. I will get pictures soon. I just ordered an alarm for it and bought a heavy duty towing chain to chain it to the pilliars infront of my town house, also got a disk brake lock. Going tomorrow to set up insurance and get plates for it. I should be riding it by next week. Just want to get that alarm installed first. Thanks for all the help. It was sure worth the money.
