Default Battery dead 08 CBR600RR

if the battery is not fully charged shouldn't the bike start while it's being charged? Like my car I can just jump start it while on the charger, I just turn it up to 50 amp quick start
My bike just clicks even while on the charger? Maybe I shorted something from turning up the AMP to 10

Hey,
Nice looking bike. I really like the paint scheme. Just let the charger do its thing for a while. If the battery was drained way down, it will take a good long time for it to charge. There is also the possibility that you have a bad battery.

Thanks it's my son's bike. I replaced the battery it is up to 14v and bike still just clicks. I read many posts but it looks like I have to have the bike running to test the r/r. Any idea how I can get the bike running?

Does the engine turn over manually?
Is the click coming from the starter or the relay/soleniod?

See if power is getting through the relay all the way to the starter. It does have a fuse in it that may have blown.
