Default Battery / charging issue

I have 2003 cbr 600rr. It was taken into the shop to have a new clutch put in . Got it back from the shop and now my battery dies whenever I shut the bike down and try to start it back up. Someone recommended taking the clutch cover off and checking to make there isn’t too much sealant on the cover. Would this cause any issues with the battery? I don’t believe it’s the rectifier / regulator.

@Huntersteed1 Hi and welcome to the forum. Can you provide a little more detail/clarification on the symptoms? When you say the battery dies when you shut the bike down, do you mean you have to put the battery on a charger for a while before you can start it back up?

The clutch cover is not going to impact the ability to start unless they pinched a wire in the cover and you are experiencing parasitic loses.
