Dude $14.48/mo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!! You all are getting ripped.

Oh yeah, anytime you give colateral you WILL get a better rate. Very simpe concept: the higher the risk, the higher the rate. A note loan, says they take your WORD for it...if you don't pay them they are screwed....with security they at least have your bike to repo therefore less of a rate. FYI

I am 24 and pay about $40 a month for my insurance with State Farm. I got a guote from Progressive and they wanted about $250 a month. Dont' know why. When I turn 25 my insurance goes down to $15 a month. As for the loan it is a great idea but with higher interest rates it just didn't work for me. If somone had to pay very high insurance though it woudl be a hugh benefit.

I called several places before I purchased my bike. I found State Farm goes by the CC's of the bike, not the style of bike. As in, they went by 600 CC's, and not by the fact that it was a sport bike, like all the other places I called did. I had quotes over 2 grand a year from some. Only pay about $500/yr for State Farm, and I am 30 with no tickets showing or accidents. The state you live in may make a difference too. Some states require certain coverages. In MI, we pay through the tailpipe for insurance.

I found cheap insurance through CountrySide. Email this guy.

jerry.rainey@countryfinancial.com

Tell him Thom Morrow sent you.

He was actually cheap enough that I switched my cars as well from Allstate.

I had taken a personal loan out as well just so I can carry basic liability. My intrest rate went up from honda's promotional deal 6.9%to 10.99.However I was able to transfer that balance onto a 0%credit card that will be good for 16 months. Ill do the same again when that time comes.I pay 157/year.
