ARATA Slip on for 2005 Cbr600rr
Hey everyone,
I am thinking of getting either the new Arata matte black slip on for 05' or the yoshimura rs-5 slip on exhaust for my new silver and black cbr600rr. Now finding pictures or reviews of such a new product is not easy! If anyone has any pictures of this new pipe on the bike and even better a sound clip would be awesome!. I have heard that Arata in general are a really loud pipe? Is that true that it might be that much louder then the yoshi? Please share your experiences and thoughts. Only considering these two exhausts though no others.. It will be one or the other!
Thanks

If you're looking for loud... I'd have to suggest NOT going with the RS5. One of the guys in my group has one on his ZX6 and it's not much louder than stock. He hates it after hearing my two brother M2h.
As for the Arata... none of the bikes around me has one so I can't say anything about it. But if some one tells you to get a D&D since you're looking for loud... put some time into finding one first. I hate the sound of them. Very, very loud.... and tinny... I like the low, deep sound of mine much better.
Here's a link to the sound I like.... not what you're looking for, but it gives you an idea of where I'm coming from. This is my actual bike. You must have good speakers with good base. If things are not vibrating on your desk as you listen to it... it's not right.
Click Here (Be patient... it takes about a full minute to load and you have to have quick time viewer installed)

Well I can not say much rs-5 but I can say that the ARATA is a BAD *** pipe. I just bought a bike and it has an ARATA pipe on it, IF you are looking for a nice loud pipe, look no further my friend! This is on of the best sounding pipes I have heard. It has a nice deep throaty sound to it when it is at idle and people will here you as you pull away from 'em. Worth the money!!
