I should have posted this before I bought my engine, however, I recently purchased a 2004 BCBR 600 RR engine, and I can not find any information about it.
I know basic things, but i would like to know how to decipher the serial number or if i could go somewhere and look at its history. I was also curious if anyone here knew where I could get an assembly drawing, or exploded drawing of the engine and its components. what are some comon problems wioth the RR engines? anything that identifies them as an RR engine?

 

RR engine has dual stage fuel injection. other than that they're pretty much the same as an F4i engine on the outside... you can search online for a website to download the service manual from.

 

yes, I got one of those, is there anything in the engine serial number or on the engine that destinguishes it from the F4i? what about the oil cooler, or is that inherent ot all the CBR 600 engines?
how interchangabvle are the parts between the engines?
