Default 2004 CBR won't run

Hi guys,

I just bought a damaged 2004 CBR 600, it is missing the clocks.

It will turn over but won't run. Does it need clocks to run?

The fuel pup doesn't run up when you turn the key on.

All help much appreciated.

A.

Does it have the tip over sensor in place?

tip over sensor is in the front.. If you remove the windscreen you will find the sensor. You can use small wire you can jump the tip over sensor and the fuel pump shoud engage. Also there are several other things, Broken wires so check your harness (last resort), blown fuses... Hope this helps.. One last thing which is funny but had this issues. Inside your ignition is a fuse. If it is blow bike will get power but fuel pump will not engage..

Its not a fuse, its a diode.

it should be angle sensor as mentioned above or if it is EU model (I saw SWE in your name) could be HISS. To check angle sensor, connect green and red wire near to sensor, to check HISS - get from some friend HISS from any Honda in working order and replace.

Default Thanks

Cheers guys, I assume the tip over sensor has gone, any idea where it plugs into the loom as the clock loom is missing?

three point socket, wires - green, white/black, red/white

or find in front big sockets red/white wire and connect it to green
