1000 miles to go. wondering who all had to actually re-shim the valves at 16k (2004). Im sure it mostly has to due with how often the oil was changed and how hard the bike was riden... just hoping itll slide by on just inspecting... doubt it considering it only gives you +/- .001 margin of error...but ill try to be hopeful.

 

Mine is currently apart at my buddies house - we just checked and oddly enough my 98 with 19k didn't need it done.
