1000rr rim to 600rr?

Will a 1000rr rim fit a 600rr? For example, if I buy a rim from a 2004 1000rr will it fit on my 600rr?

maybe wrong but no. if im not mistaken the 1000 rear wheels is half an inch wider than the 600 to accomidate the 190 instead of the 180. like i said could be wrong.
