Can the "new" throttle body (and computer) be used with the older cylinder heads?

Good question. I have a friend with a 05 and his is torn down to replace the gas tank. My 07 is torn down to check clearences. I took a look at both and it looks like they match up but I can't be sure. I didn't check if the injectors were different or if you would have to use the old or new...Not sure but I will be watching for the answer if someone knows.

 

It looked to me like they should fit, however I did notice the fuel rails, injectors, and injector plugs all looked difference, so it might be that the throttle bodies are interchangeable, but require the same year wire harness (or change plug ends).
