Hell if you guys wont buy a basically free extended warranty, why even get insurance? The 600 is more than worth it, if you want to sell it in two years you will get every bit of that 600 back and more!!!!!!!
Interesting assumption. I surely would not tack on the full price of a partially used extended warranty on a used bike. By the time the bike ends up on the secondary market, buyers will know it was a reliable model, or they will know to avoid it and purchase something else.

There are many reasons to purchase an extended warranty, but purchasing it with the intent that someone else will tack on the value to a used machine is a fools proposition.

Ok here is a hypothetical. There are two identical bikes for sale, same mileage, condition, etc., but one has 3 years left on the warranty and is only 4 to 5 hundreddollars more. Oh jees, what a tought decision, NOT! These machines are not infallible young fella.

That's a highly unlikely situation. Assuming I was presented with this scenario, I would not spend the extra $400-$500. I would rather spend the extra money on something else.
