alright so im wanting to take off that huge ugly brake light setup on the 07' model cbr600rr that hangs below the undertail exaust and replace it with the 06' cbr600rr brake light which sits between the exaust and tail(looks much cleaner) has anyone done this who could give me some pointers?? that would be awesome!!

 

Sounds like a great idea! I wouldn't mind doing the same thing. Nice LED tail light with integrated flashers built in!

 

I've done the 03-06 mod. I think a better option right now is the Tripage light. He made a custom light that fits perfectly in the 07 tail. The 03-06 isn't a perfect fit and it inturn makes the rear cowl sit funny. Send him an email and see if he has any in stock, if not then go with the 03-06 light, but check tripage first.

 

Yep Tri has a newly developed light for the 07's+ perfect fit apparently. I would def love to get that damn piece outta there as well for now i have the Clear Alternatives INT LED tail light (clear lense) looks great, but id still like to do the Tri one though?

heres the huge link to the thread/ dont get an 06 one get the newer one designed for 07's. There is only one thing about it for me anyways, i have the Yosh RS-5 and if i were go get Tri's new inter taillight id have to shorten my exhaust, as the space between is TINY ( some of the light would get covered up etc) other exhausts dont seem to be as bad? Nonetheless its a excellent design! ill never know why Honda put the light underneath the ex for 07+
