Default 06 Decision?

I am really at odds with my self. What to do? What to do? Do I say screw it and just part out the wrecked 06rr. And keep doing track days on the old F2. It runs great, never gave me any problems. Or do I rebuild the 06rr for a new track only toy and sell or part out the F2. I figured out with ebay parts to rebuild it would cost around $1500 or so. I only paid $400 for it with less than 10,000 miles. It basiclly needs forks, subframe, rearsets and fairings. Maybe a front wheel. It starts instantly, idles perfectly, revs perfect. Decisions, decisions.

If the F2 runs great, why part it out? Keep it and run it on the street or sell it as a whole. Build the rr into a super track bike. Race trim, Ohlins forks, and other race parts. But how much do you go to the track? If not that much, fix the rr up and ride it.

Like the others said, turn the RR into a race bike.

I dont race, I use to race the f2 back during the mid 90's. It has an "R" title that I never put in my name because I figured I would destroy it on the track one day. I have done 10 track days this year, looking to do 4 more. I already have an 08 CBR1000 that I hardly ever ride because street riding is to boring/dangerous. I love working on my bikes. The F2 runs great and has never gave me any trouble. I love it. But I figured the 06 being 12 years newer would be a blast with the lighter weight, better suspension, 20ish more horse power. You all know what I mean.

Well, Its official. I'm fixing the rr for the track. Forks are on the way. Not sure what I'm going to do with the F2 other than continue to do track days til the rr is ready. I cant believe no one commented on me having an 08 cbr 1000 that I hardly ride, I bought it brand new in May 08 paid top $ for it then a year later when economy went to hell you could get a year old left over for $8000 ish. lol. Track day weekend got cancelled due to Hurricane Sandy. That bitch. One more weekend left. Supposed to be nice.
