Hey Guys,

My friend has an 05' 600RR and needs the bolts/screws that hold the bar ends in place. Someone stole his bar ends and the new ones he bought didn't come with the bolts. Do any of you know the bolt size? I was planning to maybe check Home Depot or something since he said he couldn't find any where he lives.

Honda Part Number: 90191-MK4-000
The bolt is size 6x55 and is $2.82 eachfrom Ron Ayers.

 

Thanks man. I'm gonna try looking for them at a local store, check home depot too. I need them in less than 5days. I'm sure it could happen, but no point in risking it.
Should just be a regulat allen screw that size, correct?

 

Both of my 05 RR's have the Shogun bar ends, which use the allen bolts.

The OEM Honda parts are philips head.

 

Yea, that's right. My mistake. Either one should work fine, right? I'll try going to the dealer though and give them that part number tomorrow. But just incase, cause I dont wanna have to wait if they have to order it.

 

The OEM Honda bar ends are weighted and the bolt is fully exposed at the end of the bar end. If you're going to re-install OEM bar ends, you'll want the bolts with the philips heads. BTW - the bolts snug down onto the OEM bar ends into a little countersunk area, and the heads are pan head.

The Shogun bar ends have the bolt recessed up inside the Delrin slider.

 

Alright, I'll make sure I go with the OEM style (philips head).
