So me and a couple of my buddies took off last night to ride with some of our buddys in a town about an hour away we had prolly been riding for about 2 or 3 hours and we get about 10 miles from our home town and this state cop goes flying past us and there were for of us and when he passed me i looked down and i wasdoing 128 and the first guy in our called me while we were pulled over(YEAH HE DIDNT GET PULLED OVER) and said he was doing about 150+ past the cop so the 3 of us all saw the cop turn around and he caught back up to us as we got back into town and he was like do you guys know why i pulled you over and i was like i am just gonna guess for speeding but enlighten me and he was like yeah actually thats exactly why i pulled you over and then he said i clocked you guys back there and you were way over and i was like OH **** 130MPH SPEEDING TICKET NO WAY AND THEN HE SAID HE CLOCKED ALL 3 OF US AT 85 AND ALL THREE OF US WERE GOIN WELL OVER THAT I JUST STARTED LAUGHING. SO ANYWAYS I ENDED UP WITH A 95 DOLLAR TICKET.

 

Wow, I'm impressed. Please come to my town and drive that fast. we haven't had any fatalities in awhile.

yeah i got popped for 95 in a 75 a few months ago.

cop asked me, how fast were you going back there before i saw you
i told him, i dont know when you are going that fast you really want to look at the road not your speedo

he laughed and told me to slow it down and to take a break for a while.
its funny he said, i knew you were not going to run by the way you were dressed (i was in full leathers)

 

What are we supposed to be impressed by?

This sort of irresponsible riding is what is making it harder on the rest of us.

If you need to go this fast, take it to the track where it is safe and legal to do so.

Speeding is something that we all do, doesn't make it right or safe. Wreckless driving is not something we should be advocating.

130+ or 150+ on public roads is a bit above and beyond speeding. (If you don't get this, read your local traffic laws)

It is stupidity, plain and simple. Too many variables to deal with. If you need to go these speeds, it is best do to them on a track. At least the track is designed for it. The roads used by the public are not.

... and people wonder whylaw enforcementis cracking down on sport bike riders ...

 

What are you REALLY saying, that we all do 150+? That type of riding is idotic and the stuff of squids. I guess you ride like that eh?

I speed at times but NEVER anywhere near that on the street, ever.
