my 2000 cbr has a slight licking noise comng from the right side of the cylinder. The noise is almost unhearable at low rpms but around 5-6k rpm it is noticeable. I have a feeling that this is the cam chain tensioner but it doesnt make any nasty noise on startup or at the lower rpms. DOes this sound like the problem? is this a known problem witht the f4's? thanks

sounds like the cct. I just replaced mine. Does it make any sound if you decel without brakes at lower rpm? And yes the cctl is a known problem. It will still do its job.. its just annoying
