Default CCT Ticking noise? Please help

Hello all fellow motorcycle riders.
Since I bought my new 1995 cbr f3. When I turn on the bike in cold morning, there is slight ticking nouse that comes from right side of the engine. I can not tell if its from CCT or Valves job needed. When I give a little gas, the ticking goes away after 2k rpm and up. However, when the bike idles again, it starts doing that.

Last week, i removed my automatic CCT, i primed it with oil and when i put it back, there was no ticking noise for couple days. None at all but recently i started hearing the symptoms again.

So my question is, how can i know if the CCT is working properly or not or could it be my valves or anything? I would get a manual CCT but how do i know that it will fix the problem.

Thanks

Priming the CCT cannot effect the valvetrain.Your test have proven the CCT to be at fault.

I would bet money on the CCT.
Your stock CCT is probably reaching the end of it's life.
I would replace yours with another one from honda or get an APE CCT.
dont forget to get a gasket as well.
