Chavy85,

I'm pretty sure that someone does make an HID kit, just couldn't tell ya who.
I'd do a search for'em in the F4 section.

The headlight bulb is a PITA for the amount of work that it should take.
You can "try" to follow the manual and do it without removing the front fairing.....
or just remove the front fairing and put the bulb in.

I tried it the manual states and ended up taking off the front fairing because I couldn't get the spring that holds the bulb to stay in place.

Nice choice in color by the way and a very clean machine.
What exactly is the metallic orange paint?
The orange looks just like every other orange I've seen....
What did the guy you bought it off of say about dropping it?
It was definately dropped from looking at that night time pic.
Right fairing rash and rash on the cover....?

yea, i would replace the alternator cover. it could have/develop a crack that could leak all your oil out.
its pretty easy, you could do it when you change your oil

Well it was droped very softly as you can see the scratches arn't bad. he was comming out of a parking lot i think is what he said. as for the stator cover it's fine, doesn't leak. there is a little road rash on both sides. nothing i'm ever going to worry about. you can see by the "chicken" makes on the tires he was a REALY good rider. as there are none. he took it over all the way to maybe 1/16" when i ride all i can get to is maybe 1/2".
as for the paint i've only see the orange here online. there isn't anyone eles around here with an orange one as far as i can tell. havent see one anyhow.
speeking of oil..... what filter should i use? and oil? syn OK? or not? i knwo it has wet clutches but some of these bikes run full syn some dyn. Air filter, when should i change that? and how tight should the chain be? i think it might be a little loose.. i'm going off what my Dirt bikes run..

soem questions.... i knwo these bikes have LOTS of power but should i t pull a wheelie in first with no clutch help? like just pin it full.? cause it won't. now if i grab second and slip the clutch a little it'll come up but by then i'm doing 50+ and slow down.
thoughts.
thanks
HR.

it's not the pipe, (jardine) <~~?spelling on that. it's the header that is on it... it's all after market. i think it's the little gasket things that go in there.

I bought my 2000 F4 with only 2500 original miles on the bike...and the only thing that I did was clean the carbs since the bike just sat. After the carbs were cleaned, bike rides like a champ, smooth and very fast....
I have an ICON Merc black leather, and an ICON textile in organge...
As for helmets...I have an HJC and a Scorpion...both are good, but preferthe Scorpion since its the same color scheme...

Congrat on the bike...
