Default Tail light problem.... interesting..

So i fixed the previous owners wiring mess and followed the diagram from the cbr manual....
Everything works, and is wired up right!
Turn signals work, license plate light works.
Break light works.

But no running tail light!?!?!?!??! only lights up when i break.... Any ideas guys?

You have three wires going to the taillights I presume? if you do, check your bulbs and make sure that they aren't burnt out. If they are good you need to go back and trace the black and brown wire I believe and make sure its making all the connections and there are no cuts or frays in it. and your positive you wired the taillights up in the correct order?

All advice given on the assumption of OEM taillight and turn signals.

I've got a similar problem... thing is... I've got standard taillight... when I brake both lights/bulbs light up... however running my normal lights, only one lights up?

However if both light up on braking then both bulbs work I presume... so... could it be a wire?

the individual filaments in the bulbs can burn out. I would start by replacing the bulb. Its just like with the fuel system or starting system start and the problem and work your way back instead of just jumping on what you think is the problem. I know its hard I had that problem yesterday when I was trying to start up my bike. I was jumping around, got really frustrated, walked away and decided to come back and start over. took me 15 minutes and I got the bike up and running.
