Default Tail light issue

So i recently put on a new fairing kit since i dropped my bike a month ago, all i did was put the new kit on and install new front turn signals, now im having an issue with my rear taillight being illuminated as if I was braking. I didnt mess with any of the wires for the taillight, ive checked all the fuses and connections for any loose wires but couldnt find any, any one have any ideas or had this same issue?

would the front turn signal wires affect it? i know they have three going to them and the back turn only has two going to them, and looking at the wiring diagram im not sure if they would cause it to be on like it is. To clarify I only connected the front turn signals with the ground wire and the one wire going to the back tail lights, not the third wire going to them, should I have connected all 3?

yea there is 3 wires on your fronts, one hot wire for running lights, one hot for turn signal, and one ground. you don't need to wire all 3. do your signals both work in the front and rear, since you changed them out?

best way to see whats messing with your rear light is to check the wires at the brake switches, maybe one came unhooked at the front brake there is 2 wires, and your rear brake has the brake switch that can get offset easy and make your light stay on. If that doesn't work unhook your new front signals and be sure they are not the problem.

the front signals and back signals both work when its just the two wires, and I will check my back brake lever because I did end up replacing the pedal so I will try and see if that is the problem, report back when I test it in a little bit

thanks cobra, it was the bake brake pedal, when i put the new one on the screw was too tight from the old one and without adjusting it the pedal kept the switch on, loosened it up and now it works perfectly
