Hey guys,

I need to replace my stator on my 99 600f4. They are pretty expensive so I was wondering if I can interchange it with maybe a stator from an f4i or possibly f2 or f3? I called my local dealerships and was told 3 different things - 1. I can go older but not newer with it, meaning an f2 or f3 clip would fit. 2. I can go newer but not older, meaning f4i or f4. and 3. I can't interchange because none of the clips fit and the power output will be different. Any thoughts before I have to buy an OEM one for 150 bucks?
