Default It’s finally (nearly) finished

Not sure who remembers me posting about this troublesome thing, but after months of work and finally admitting defeat and taking it into a garage to be looked at the cbr600 F4 is finally on the road, not without its issues looks like the fork seals are on the way out but I can enjoy some summer weather (if we get any in the UK) and can work on said issues over the winter.

I will say the paint work isn’t brilliant and some parts need redoing, again another winter job.

note to self if something is cheap it’s cheap for a reason.

bike ended up with;
new (well second hand ebay) lock set, full fairing set + painting, replacement rear pads, replacement rear shock, valve clearances checked, carb strip cleans and rebuild(twice by me and once at the garage, I couldn’t get them to seal correctly, full service replacement screen (original had been sprayed black), replacement mirrors, replacement indicators and possibly a few more bits I forget about.

i know if I ever came to sell that I wouldn’t get back the amount that has been spent but it’s all about the fun (and swearing at bolts) right 😅

just a little different from when it first arrived what feels like a lifetime ago 🤣

Well done getting it back on the road!

If you get any decent weather, let me know. We're having a strange summer this year.
