Routine upkeep
So still new to the whole motorcycle life, Ive got a 1999 CBR600 and a long weekend coming up and was planning on dickin around with the bike clean her up a bit. all I've got planned so far is clean the carbs change the chain and sprockets, and swap all the fluids. Am i forgetting anything or anybody have any suggestions to things to add to my list? preferably things i can do on my own and are realativly cheap??
Thanks in advance

yeah i was just thinking about the plugs, like i said in a previous post, this thing has been sitting in a parking gaarage for over a year so im just going and trying to hit everything.
Mate, with a 99' if you get those carbs balanced and iridium sparks and a K&N filter, it'll feel like a new bike, I promise. Mine had only done 9k miles when I bought it, was running nicely.... serviced it with above... and it was "jesus", like night and day.... not sure if it was running that badly in the first place.. but either way I always put iridium in now. Check your pads... I've gone EBC pads in mine for the track, they work stunningly on road use as well, with a really nice progressive feel over OEM ones... worth the upgrade BUT I did put wavey discs on at same time?!
