Default bike upkeep

Hey I just bought a 1995 CBR600F3. I want to do a little up keep on it before i go out riding. Ive worked on cars for about 10 years now so i know to change the oil, air filter, coolant, spark plugs etc... However im new to bikes so i was wondering what else I should do as far as maintaining the bike goes, thanks in advance

you may need to change the chain and/or sprockets if they are worn. check brakes, tires other than that i think you should be good to go

Change the brake fluid too...you don't know how long it's been in there...it tends to go yellowy/brown with age as opposed to almost completely clear when new...

Brake fluid is a good one. Fuel filter is cheap and easy to change. Especially if the bike has been sitting, there might be gunk in the gas tank that has clogged the filter.

Changing the fork oil isn't a bad idea on a thirteen-year-old bike.
