Removing LH side switch - turn signal
My turn signal switch doesnt like to work correctly when the temps go below 50.. the left hand side will work fine, but the right signal takes anywhere from 5 to 10 seconds before it will start to flash.. it will shut off but stay off for that period of time. Above 50 degrees it works perfectly. It's not the flasher.. I even just swapped to an electronic LED flasher when I put my HB flush mounts on...
I see that it clamshells around the clip on from top to bottom.. I can feel one screw but Im pretty sure there is another... Should I look out for anything? I know that the choke cable is there.. Any tips? tricks? is it straightforward?
I had to take the same thing apart on my old Ninja 250 but for a different reason.. wasnt too bad.. I figure I will take it apart and clean it with electric cleaner.. maybe put some dielectric grease on the contacts? I tried shooting a little bit of WD40 into the slot as I saw on other posts from a search on here, but it didnt seem to help much.
Thanks

Oh ok.
The wiring group that comes out of that switch can get pinched over time...could be causing an intermittent connection. OR, could be the switch itself. Either way, a visual inspection would be appropriate, as well as the maintenance you suggested. IIRC, its two assembly screws & the clutch cable nut.
Sorry you're having the issue.
