easy fix?! ha. First off, the cct is in the worst spot to get at on the F4. If you have a canadian model the water jacket in the carbs is going to be an extra bitch. The TPS housing is right in the way of this job. Tank, airbox, carbs off. then you'll have just enough space to get at it.

When you do do it, get an APE manual tensioner, set up is easy and it's way more reliable than the OE part. Best of luck.

 

Yes, I had the same problem for my f4, about 5000-7000 RPM caused extreme rattle. Buy a new cam chain tensioner ( cheapcycleparts.com ) and you can easily put it in yourself. http://www.bayarearidersforum.com/fo...threadid=81780
