Hello

I now there are many threads about this , but cant find the right awnser.

So i have a Cbr 89 with 25000km
If i ride the bike around 3000 rpm i hear a loud rattling noise.
When i give more gas it not so loud anymore , and stops after a while .
when the engine is warm it stops , but if you shut the bike down , and start it again the rattle is back for a while .
if a pull the clutch its gone for 1 or 2 seconds


I replaced the cct with a new one , and still the rattle .
Its more louder like before with the new cct :S
Maybe the chain ?

What else can be the problem ?

if it is the cam chain thats making the noise, it isnt always the cct. the other day i took the head off my engine and took a look inside just for the heck of it and i noticed that the composite covering on the cam chain tensioner guide deal was chipping off. it could be the cam chain guides, theres one in the front that is stationary, one in the back that tightens the chain, and one on top that is stationary as well. but i dont know why the noise would go away for a little bit if you pull out the clutch
