Popping fan fuse, around 1 per 200 miles. Any suggestions?

 

check the connections, sounds like you might have a short somewhere.

 

Took off the fairings, checked the connections looked ok, checked the wires (what I could see) looked ok, noticed the fan was stuck - broke free with a little assistance (felt like some debris between the fan and the shroud). Did a function check by grounding out the wire to the switch, fan worked ok. We'll see what happens

 

Been a month and running fine. Now to get rid of that annoying rattle.

 

Been 7 months...must have been the problem. Found the source of rattle...loose exhaust.
