mine mounts under my battery compartment, i got an fe kit to do it tho, imo the ones beside the tire means you wont be leaning to hard to that side..seems like it would hit, i dont like em

I have an axle mount I originally placed it on the right side of the bike, but the first time I rode two up with it it scratched the **** out of my exhaust. I know have it on the left side. I have had my plate mounted off the axle for about 3 years now and have never been pulled over for and I don’t have a light on it either.

sweet lol thanks blade i guess its just personal preferance but im getting rid of my exhaust and getting the moto gp shorty so the back would look cleaner without that bulky pipe back there

I ended up doing the same thing lol it looks much cleaner I have some pics and a sound clip if you want them.
