Default Question about 1999 CBR F4 rim size

I know I should be trying to research this but I thought this might speed up things while I search through past threads, I just purchased a 1999 CBR F4 600 and I purchased it with a bent front 17 inch rim. I was wondering what is compatible in the sense that I can just slip it in and attach the rotors to it?

I read that any rim for 96'+ CBR will fit a CBR 600RR, is it the same as the F4i? thanks!

Just so you know, the F4i & F4 use dif wheels.

Nothing just "slips in" or is interchangeable w/o other requirements.

Otherwise, its possible to swap to an F4i wheel but you need the F4i rotors & spacers to fit.

A few threads to ref:

Sure thing. Here's a tip for rear wheels...

The F4i complete rear wheel (wheel, cush drive, sprocket & carrier) will directly swap over.

I have a complete F4i rear I use as a spare for my F4.

Hey GotCBR, one more quick question when you get a chance. What sort of spacers should I be looking for if I want to put a f4i on my front? and where should I order them from?

You need the F4i spacers w/ the F4i wheel. Keep in mind that the F4i has a dif size rotors. Of course, it has its own bearings as well.

ETA: You can order them from any of the standard OEM Honda suppliers like; servicehonda, bikebandit, ronayers, etc.

Oh okay, that definitely works out then, there's someone in my area who is selling a pair of front/rear F4i rims and rotors. I'll look to get the F4i spacers as well when I get to buying it. Thanks a lot! No more rim related questions.. for now
