Hi people I'm new here.
I'm Portuguese so if what I write is not correct, please give me a break!!
This is what I want to know: what are the main differences between the cbr 600 F and the cbr 600 F4.
I'm curious cause I want to buy one, a 00/01 model, but when I look in the classifieds I see that there are some models that are named F and others F4.
I thought that the F4 was the same thing as the F, and the "4" was just a sign of the evolution of the model, since the late 80's till now.
But then I saw a picture of a cbr 600 that had just the "F", and another that had the "F4".
So now I'm confused. Is there any difference or not?

Looks to me like a North American version (F4) and a Euro version (F). They have been different as long as I've been around bikes. A 900RR here is a 900 Fireblade over there. Go figure. You guys get all the cool names.
