Have a 99 F4 and wanted to put a set of sliders on. Looking around for a set and everyone says that some fairing modification is needed to fit my bike. Has anyone done the modification? If so can you post a few pics and some instructions.

 

check out the post on Vortex Frame sliders. I think the thread is called "The Definitive Guide to Installing Vortex Frame Sliders". If that isn't it, it's darn close. The guys shows pics and describes almost everything. He has a 600F4i. Hope it helps.
