hey guys i just bought a 99 cbr 600f4 and i can not carry my passenger helmet on the bike to go pick someone up to ride, how do you carry a helmet on a one peice seat. I know their is a place on a two peice seat. but their is not one on my one peice....thanks for the help

open up the seat. there are two hooks (left side & right side) near the battery. kind of annoying to ride, because helmet keeps hitting your thighs....

if that's not the right hook, than oops...tha's what i've been using!

if you lift up the seat and look at the rear fairing you will see two (cutouts) on the left and right side....and on the seat there will be two metal hooks that sit were those cutouts are.

thats what I use to hang my helmet on, but would be very annoying while riding...

I have the Targa solo cowl so i don't ride anyone. Before I had the cowl I once straped my lid to the seat strap but that did not work well. I was just going slow up in KSU so I just wanted to roll at 10 MPH with no lid. I would have never tried that going on a real road.

I bought an elastic cargo net and draped that over the passenger seat so the helmet could fit under there. it stretches out over large sized helmets and you can obviously use it for other cargo too.

when you hook the helmet to the cut out close to the battery, does the helmet not slide or anything and scratch the paint?
