Now it wont start!!!!!
Ok... I have been having a problem with the bike. 99 CBR600f4 in 11,500 miles. It has been bogging out and dieing when I am riding. I have changed battery, Recefier, Plugs, Coils, and cleaned carbs.... So none of that worked.. I bought used carbs off ebay and put them on. Took the funnels off and put my old ones on and cleaned them up a bit. The guy said the bike they were on was running great. So I plug it all up. And now it wont start. Checked the fuel lines. got fuel. It turns over just no start. And I just want to ride. Or I just might sell it.
Please please. Help me out here.

sounds like a fuel pump to me. did you try pulling the line loose and turning the switch on to see if it pumps anything? Thats the only piece that hasnt been replaced... either that or check fuses and relays.
well.... now I got her started. still got the jumpy rpm. when I rev her she hesitates if I pull back to hard on the throttle she will bog out on me and die. What could be wrong. oh... and she is jumpy at steady revs.
The carbs on the F4 I know are really tempermental. I had mine professionally cleaned because I just didnt wanna deal with them. What kind of a setup is on your bike? (air filter, exhaust?) My pilot jets had been clogged (the jets that feed when the bike idles) hence my bike would stall on warm up and couldnt be restarted. When I had my carbs cleaned, the balance which had existed with my K&N air filter and M4 exhaust got set off and I had to have it jetted to accomodate for the lack of back pressure. It doesnt quite sound like a fuel pump, but give check that too just to rule it out. Check the plugs when it bogs out and dies to see if they are in fact dry.
The jet kit might be worth a try, just not sure if its worth spending the $150 or so dollars on something that might not solve the problem. I was curious to see what others people's thoughts would have been. If its bogging down under increasing the throttle then logically it sounds like its not getting enough fuel and its running lean. If you checked the plugs after it bogged and died and they are dry this would verify this. Best of luck, ive been there...
