Default Newbie! Gas leak

I'm new to bikes and this 2000 Honda CBR600 is my first bike. It hadn't ran in over a year so I bought a new battery and started it. After a few attempts it finally started but it was leaking fuel from a hose. The hose comes from that little box then connects to nothing. I've tried looking some stuff up and i think it is some sort of vent/breather hose. I took a few pics of the hose and where its coming from. Anybody know whats wrong? thanks!

The hose that's leaking is next to the coolant tank

cant seem to load your pics up, but if the bike hasnt been run up for a year, your float needles may not be seating due to the gunk that old petrol leaves or one or more float may be stuck on its pin and the fuel is running out the carb overflow pipes
lift your tank up and see if the hose you describe follows back to the carb bottoms, if it does you will have to take the carbs off so you can remove the float bowls, you could try tapping the bowls first with a screwdriver this may drop the float down (if you are lucky)
