Nicky Hayden used to race one so don't let what these guys say fool you it is one ell of a bike. Of course it won't keep up with the newest 600's but it was a race bike and does have a lot of power!

 

Yeah, i am looking to get a F4 myself. but there are plenty of other bikes in the 600cc class for under 3500!!!

They just need to be older. I bought my 1999 F4 for 3600.

A lot of the 1996-1999 600's can be found for 3k-3500, they are just a little harder to come by.

On this search of Washington DC's craigslist 3000-3500 i see some older GSXR's, Superhawk, Ninja's... all sorts.
