hey guys, i'm currently building a streetfighter/stunt bike out of and f2 and i finally finished modding the f4 tail onto the f2 absolutely love it now. Alright now to the help section. I just recieved my f4 tail light, led w/ integrated turnsignals, from the pics of it all she looks pretty cool but i haven't started to wire it up because its super confusing! I have two white block looking things with wires? i'm imagining that they are resistors or something and then 2 loose wires i think ones blue the others yellow and those go to the turn signals i believe, and then there is 3 wires still in a harness. my questions are what the heck are the white block thingys

also does the tail light just hang out in the tail and not need to be bolted in like this??

 

There's been a few threads in the F4i section on installs of this type of tail light. Take a run thru that section & see what you can find on the wiring.

As for your question about the tail light bolting in...YES, there are two brackets on in the inside of the tail cowl that the light bolts to.

 

ahh i see now, i just looked at the part list on the oem f4 tail... how the heck do you guys even get to that bolt lol guess and check?

 

take off the tail fairing, attach it to the tail fairing and attach the fairing to the bike. Is that what you were asking about.

You can fab up something very easily if need-be.

 

lol fab i shall my good man, i just prepped the gas tank and the tail fairing is next so might as well take it to the hardware store first and ghetto fab a bracket
