My new project

I can try to do this tomorrow, template is at home and I don't have a scanner there. The one here isn't very big, but I can scan 2 images and try to stick them together.

I did a bit more work on the license plate bracket. I would have preferred to leave it flat, but the sheet metal I used was too thin and I've seen plate brackets bend before. So I needed to put some groves in it (I'm there there's a more technical name for them.) To do this I cut a grove in a piece of 2x4, then used a wire coat hanger to hammer in the grove.
This is the 2x4 after I cut the grove in, you want to make it just a bit bigger than the coat hanger.
Here's a picture of hammering down on the wire to push the metal into the grove.
This is the end result, make a few of these going vertically through the bracket and there shouldn't be any problems with bending.
And once I painted it with the same bed liner paint, here's how it looks in place. I have to do another coat of paint because I drilled the holes for the plate after I painted it and I want to cover the metal I exposed int he holes. I still have to get some way of screwing into the tail section but I'm sure I'll come up with something.
Up next, frame sliders and swing arm spools!!!

Tried to scan it but the scanner isn't big enough, it's 16 1/2" x 11 7/8". I'm sure you'll be able to figure something out.

nice idea with the strengthened plate bracket, I'm still debating what to do with my plate. My undertail will actually coverup the licence light of the integrated tail so I might end up putting it further down towards the front of the bike... I'll have to just wing it and eyeball once I get the bike and all the parts back.
great work though!

I saw a couple of undertails that look promising on ebay.
Ebay
I would normally jump on something like this but gear is more important ATM.
